The idea behind the Waves series was the will to represent the human soul, which is an abstract concept, which is something in continuous evolution that moves deep inside of us, through the waves of the sea, which are also constantly changing and moving.

I did not want to obtain an image of a wave freeze in its movement, a static image of a wave, instead I wanted to capture the movement of the wave. In order to do this I used some photographic techniques such as long exposure and camera movements and some photographic tools such as the use of equipment for underwater photography and I literally entered the wave to capture its movement. Thus the Waves series was born. I also used drones for aerial shots to obtain particular cuts.

The 2020 Waves series iteration is an evolution of this peculiar wave concept.
